2020 - First term we started an intensive - Boyz Dance - in Motueka. There are several talented teen male students in the Nelson/Tasman area who have a passion for Dance and want to know more. To that end, thanks to Tasman Creative Communities, we have been working with area dance teacher Oakley Salton to give Jazz and Contemporary classes and choreography. 4/5 April, dancers Oliver Carruthers and Sebastian Geilings from Footnote New Zealand Dance were coming to end the term's work with a Contemporary Intensive weekend culminating in a performance. Obviously that was postponed, but we held the workshop weekend of 29/30 August. Our "boyz" had a fantastic time and learned so much with Ollie & Seb. Thank you Footnote NZ Dance!!
